Saints Haven
Presbyterian Church
A mission work of the Chesapeake Presbytery
of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA),
established on the 12th of May,
in the Year of our Lord 2026.
Our Mission
To show Christ to the world by glorifying and enjoying the only true God together.
Our Vision
We will display Christ to the world through our love for one another and the good works He has prepared for us to carry out in His Name. We will do this by being a Christ Centered, Kingdom Focused, Family Oriented church.
Christ Centered
We are rooted and founded in the eternal Word - the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the firstborn over all creation. By Him and for Him and through Him are all things made.

The Christ is only revealed to mankind in the Holy Bible thus we are a Biblical church. All that we are and do is governed by the holy and inspired (God-breathed) Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments. We believe the Scriptures are the only infallible rule of faith and practice.
Kingdom Focused
We are completely committed to the work of Christ's church, the gathering and perfecting of the Saints of God. We proclaim the glorious truth that God saves sinners out of every tribe, tongue, and nation, according to His own pleasure and the counsel of His will. We declare to all the world the exceeding riches of His grace that gives His chosen people true and saving faith in the atoning blood of Christ, the incarnate Son of God.

We understand ourselves as united in Christ, part of His body, which is the church. The Lord is forming us into a brick in His temple, one of His many havens in the midst of this wild and broken world. We take seriously our calling to look outside ourselves at the fields ripe for harvest and to pray for and support the workers God calls to serve His people. Our deep longing is to become a thriving community that loves and obeys King Jesus, keeping all of His commandments and giving ourselves sacrificially to accomplish His will on earth.
Family Oriented
All who are saved in Christ are adopted into the household of God, given all the rights and privileges of sons and daughters of Almighty God. We understand that we are saved to love the Lord our God with all our mind, soul, heart, and strength, and to love each other as ourselves for His sake and glory. Though we are all of us very different in our various callings, opinions, and preferences, we are united in our most important calling; to live according to God's way that the world would glorify our Father in heaven when they encounter us. We rejoice with each other, mourn with each other, and bear one another's burdens - as a family. We believe that everyone God calls to Saints Haven is someone that we need in our lives, and who needs us in theirs - as family.

Aided by History
We are unabashedly reformed and confessional. As part of the PCA we hold to the Westminster Standards (The Confession of Faith, the Larger, and the Shorter Catechisms.) Though not all Christians would agree with every aspect of these standards, we sincerely believe they faithfully contain the system of doctrine taught in the Scriptures. We understand there are differences among Christians on various theological topics and, though we do not require members of Saints Haven to subscribe to the Westminster Standards, we believe they are gifts from God to help us understand His Word and live accordingly.
Worship in Spirit and Truth
Grounded in the Reformed tradition and the authority of Scripture, our worship is a reflection of our confessional identity, seeking to honor the sovereignty of God in every aspect of our lives. It is a time of communion with the living God, where we are invited to experience His grace and the forgiveness of sins. We worship our God according to the Regulative Principle of Worship and seek to honor Him with loud voices full of praise and thanksgiving. We aim for our corporate public worship to be simple, sincere, and sublime, focusing on the reading aloud of God's Word, the singing of Psalms and Hymns, the giving of prayers and offerings, all of which is guided by the Preached Word and, very soon (Deo Volente), the celebration of God's grace with the Sacraments.
